The autumn/winter 09 show of ZULAPAPUWA in the Antwerp Zoo, Belgium. Really great! But that’s what we expected of talented Walter Van Beirendock.
Since his early collections, Van Beirendonck has been inspired by art, music and literature, mixed with ethnic and natural influences. His influential designs are notable for their strong graphics, innovative cuts and unexpected colour combinations, along with a sense of humour. See the full collection: www.zulupapuwa.be

It’s a good deal: the T-shirt goes to you, the sales revenues go to the Butterflies organisation. Simply send size (S, M, L), full address and the header word “T-Shirt” by e-mail to: a-little-help@kidswear-magazine.com. Price per shirt: EUR 45. For 14 years, the Butterflies organisation has been reaching out to the street children of New Delhi who survive by collecting rubbish, selling newspapers, and cleaning shoes. The Butterflies approach is an unusual one. On the streets and in the parks, wherever the children live, they provide medical care, school lessons, a regular children’s committee and a theatre group. Their goal is to improve these children’s chances of survival and their opportunities in life. Butterflies is supported by the German relief organisation Misereor. www.fgf-industry.com
