Simonetta dedicates T-shirts to London Olympics 2012

Inspired by the upcoming Olympics in London, Simonetta dedicates a special limited edition of T-shirts to the event. Coloured prints and rhinestone applications recall amusingly iconic elements of the United Kingdom and play ironically with five graphic hearts. Screen-printed athletes show off the uniforms of their different sports.

The T-shirts will be sold exclusively at Harrods London at the Simonetta corner and in the main flagship stores.

Goodbye Maurice Sendak

We are very sad to say goodbye to Maurice Sendak. The American writer and illustrator of children’s literature was best known for his book ‘Where the Wild Things Are’. He died at the age of 83 on May 8th.

Shorter CPH Kids fair in August

CPH Kids fashion fair will celebrate summer with a shorter fair than usual in August 2012. The decision of a 3 day fair was reached after the request of CPH Kids’ exhibitors as a means of intensifying the fair experience as well as business attendance at the fair.

App with The Magic Cat

In a collaboration of the creatives - artist Stine Maria Aalykke, the art collective CAN and the digital shop ‘relax, we are the good guys’ - the App of The Magic Cat came into being. It’s a feel good trip around the quirky universe of Magic Cat and Teddy through animated scenes and songs by Julie Michelsen.

Rotterdam based multitalent Noa Haim runs her independent multidisciplinary studio working with international cultural patrons. For Shenzhen Hong Kong Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture she designed and completed her work Spaceship heart. The work has also been presented in a different variation within KidaRoomZoom2 during Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy. More of her Collective Paper Aesthetics can be seen on her blog.

From now on customers will find an instruction and lines to cut out and to build new things: a chair, a lampshade, or a bird house - just to name a few.
